We take the time to explain our website work in terms that are easily understood.  In fact, the way we explain how a website comes together would go something like this: "Surely you've created a brochure or a simple flyer to promote your business.  What works well for a printed piece, to catch the eye and attract attention, is also true for a website.  Think of this as a printed catalog -- what would make a good cover for your catalog, would in this case be your website's Home Page.  What would make for the body pages of your catalog, would be the body pages for your website.  The only real difference is that one is in print and the other is electronic (and saves a tree)." Case in point, is the work we performed for the Israelite House of David and Mary's City of David.  These two religious organizations date their teachings back to 1699 and earlier ... not to say that any of their current Members recall those heady days, but most of their Members weren't born yesterday either.  With both groups, we were hired to help them launch an internet presence in 2002 and 1998 respectively.  As both were new to the internet as well as to the computer, we helped them with their equipment and training needs over the years as well as teaching the Israelite House of David to make their own website updates. Learning to make your own website updates, from a site that we've created, can be easy with a little instruction.  The Israelite House of David was making their own updates within only 2 hours of our guidance! We typically will code our sites by hand using NotePad.  This allows us to incorporate streamlined coding that allows your site to load quickly and appear nearly identical within any major internet browser.  But beware, there are many website programs that claim you can do the same or make updates to an existing site with their various programs.  This is usually false in that these programs will either create a website that is quite a bit larger (in file size) than is needed which will slow the loading times for visitors to your web page or these programs will design your website on the premise that there is only one type of internet browser.  In either case, your website's effectiveness will be diminished.  But with a quick NotePad lesson from us, you can be updating your site in no time! What makes the internet so wonderful is that it works on a very logical basis that can be easily understood.  In the coding, that makes a web page work, a <B> will make a word bold and a </B> will stop it from being bold.  A <U> will make a word underlined and a </U> will stop it from being underlined.  Etcetera.  Using NotePad, you can type these codes quickly and easily with a little instruction from Lighthouse Colorprint. Since launch, the Israelite House of David website has increased their "PageRank" from "0" to a "4" (out of a possible 10) and their daily "PageViews" from "0" to highs exceeding "720".
